Other Professional Staff

The professional staff of HS&S are a diverse group who are both dedicated and hard-working.  These professionals underpin the high quality of service HS&S provides its clients.  Included on the professional staff are CPAs, CPA candidates, paraprofessionals, and a retirement plan specialist.

They are some of the most talented individuals in the Pacific Northwest.  Their endless pursuit of excellence continues to bring success to the firm and its clients.

Administrative Team

“We gave them the best seat in the house!”

Situated in front of 16 feet of glass overlooking the Willamette River, they have a stunning view of downtown Portland, Mt. Hood and Mt. St. Helens.

These dedicated employees juggle multiple projects, wearing many hats on a daily basis, and they do it with a smile!  Our administrative team holds a special place in the hearts of the partners and staff.

But the administrative team is not without a very special leader, Deborah Keller, Firm Administrator.  Deb has been with the firm since its inception in 1979.  She has seen partners retire, watched staff grow into future partners, witnessed the influx of women into the profession, successfully moved the firm four times, and has helped numerous employees become situated at HS&S.

Systems Administrator

The firm employs a full-time systems administrator who manages our phone, voice mail, e-mail and internet systems, and the local area network.  He is a Netware 5 CNE with over 10 years of experience in the IT field.  During his career he has served nearly 200 clients, working on systems ranging from a single computer to a multi-site network encompassing a dozen servers and more than 65 workstations.  He has installed, maintained, configured and troubleshot IT systems for accounting, legal, professional, manufacturing, and service companies, as well as nonprofit and union organizations.  He is currently working on a Windows 2003 MCSE certification to better serve the firm and its clients.
