Donald W. Schmidt, CPA
Don Schmidt, Corporate Secretary and Director of Tax Services, joined the firm in 1984, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience in individual, corporate, nonprofit and estate taxation, as well as pension plan administration and family wealth planning. During his tenure with the firm, the tax department has grown and developed into a highly efficient entity, skilled at meeting the widely varied tax needs of our clients.
During his 34 years in public accounting, which includes 12 years with national firms, Don has served a wide variety of closely-held companies in the construction, transportation, manufacturing and other industries; as well as nonprofit organizations and individuals.
Don and his wife have two adult children and one grandchild. Don enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, hunting, and traveling.
